This flagship event of the Department of Medicine highlights the outstanding research conducted over the past year by more than 90 graduate students, 30 postdoctoral fellows, and 290 residents. The program features poster and oral presentations showcasing research and clinical quality improvement initiatives.

Poster Sizes

The poster boards are 4' high and 6' wide. Standard sized posters on the ÒÁÈËÖ±²¥ poster templates will fit on these boards.

Please hang your poster by 9 a.m. on May 15, 2025 on the corresponding poster board number provided to you.

Poster Viewing

Public viewing and lunch will be between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in ECHA 2-490. You are expected to remain by your poster and engage with faculty members who may have questions about your research.

During this time, the winner will be announced based on the score of the abstract. The first place scientific poster presentation is valued at $500. Trainees must be present to receive the prize.

Dr. Sumit Majumdar with a skeleton

About Me2 (Sumit) Majumdar

Dr. Me2 (Sumit) Majumdar was an exceptional and caring clinician, an outstanding educator, and a brilliant researcher. During his academic career, Dr. Majumdar brought more than $30 million in peer-reviewed funding to the ÒÁÈËÖ±²¥ for his work on both knowledge translation theory and controlled intervention and outcomes studies in the areas of osteoporosis and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Dr. Majumdar published over 300 peer-reviewed articles, many in top-ranked medical journals, and was recognized internationally for his work.
