Troy Baldwin is a Professor in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology and Director of the Immunology Network. He has a longstanding interest in deciphering the signals that regulate T-cell responses. Dr. Baldwin uses sophisticated preclinical models to determine how various proteins positively and negatively regulate T-cell function. He is currently evaluating the ability of genetically engineered viruses to provoke an anti-tumour immune response with the goal of developing both personalized and off-the-shelf cancer vaccines.
