Lisa Purdy is an associate professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology.

She has held several key leadership roles within FoMD, and is currently the Academic Officer and the Assistant Dean Access Community & Belonging. Her academic work focuses on curriculum development, academic integrity, racism, and virtual simulations in health professions education. She brings a student-centred and equity-informed approach to all aspects of her teaching and leadership and is committed to building inclusive learning environments that support both academic excellence and personal growth.
