Monthly Renew

Must be manually renewed by 10 p.m. on the last day of each month. Permits can be renewed for multiple months, up to March 31. Pay for each month consecutively in your parking account.

If a permit is not renewed by 10 p.m. on the last day of the month, it will expire and the parking space will be allocated to the next person on the waitlist – it cannot be renewed.

Parking Services sends an email reminder each month from parking@ualberta.ca so please add this email to your email contacts to ensure it does not go to your junk folder.

The parking portal undergoes system maintenance on the last day of each month at 10 p.m.–2 a.m.

Using a rental or dealership loaner vehicle

Contact Parking Services with the licence plate of the vehicle requesting that it be on leave alone for the time that you have the vehicle. Your same permit restrictions apply.

Carpool permit

A carpool is three or more drivers (who live at different addresses) who regularly commute to the university together.

Carpool permits offer access to stalls in the busiest parking locations, including Jubilee Car Park, Windsor Car Park and Lot E (next to Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Science).

Each carpool member must register with Parking Services. All carpool members will be assigned one permit, which is transferable between all vehicles registered in the carpool.
