To manage electrical load, parking locations equipped with plug-ins utilize alternating block heater activation. Plugs at some locations turn on from the top of the hour to the half-hour (e.g. 9:00–9:30), while others operate from the half-hour to the top of the next hour (e.g. 9:30–10:00).

Temperature Control

• At temperatures -15 C or above, power to the system is off.
• At temperatures below -15 C, power to the system is on and cycles every 30 minutes.
• At temperatures -25 C or below, power to the system is continuously on.

Parking Lot Cycling Schedule

Parking areas on from the full hour until the half-hour (for example 9 to 9:30):

• Lots L and

Parking areas on from the half-hour until the full hour (for example 9:30 to 10):

• Lots , and
• Lots and (East Campus Village)

Parking areas where power is not cycled:
